Quitting while pregnant? Great. One more thing to stress me out.
I keep a few cigs stashed in my night stand…for those pregnant moments where I just need a little extra help.
My mom smoked when she was pregnant with me. I turned out okay (minus my asthma and allergies). 
I wasn’t using. I was... enhancing my vibes.
Is it an addiction if I call it self-care?
TV shows have cliffhangers. My glucose monitor? Unwanted plot twists.
My blood sugar meter checks in more than my friends do. Not sure how I feel about that.

Chlamydia. Easier to get than it is to spell. Oh well…at least it’s easy to treat.
Got ghosted. Got an STI. Turns out only one of them is treatable.
I just discovered that ‘What happens in Vegas’ does NOT stay in Vegas. My doctor had to get involved.
I’m the MVP of promising “just one more.”
I'm in glucose la-la land.
It’s not denial if I don’t think about it.
If stress eating were a sport, I’d win a gold medal.
My blood’s basically a candy bar right now.
64oz of Big Gulp for breakfast? Check.
Netflix is my workout plan.
If worrying burned calories, I’d be snatched.
Stress made me do it. Again.
This is the last one. Every. Single. Time.
I’ll restart my diet… right after this donut.
My gym membership is a monthly donation to hope.
I’ll quit smoking…as soon as life stops throwing punches
Blood sugar’s playing limbo—how low can it go?
Oh I diet.. I’ve lost the same 5 pounds, 10 times.
Feelings? I eat those.
Them: Did you know you could cure diabetes with… Me: Hush.
Hide-and-drink: If no one sees, it’s not a problem…right?
I wasn’t drinking alone. My dog was there.
